Songs that remind me of Rosarch. WIP and subject to change. 😎 So far, I've found that a lot of the songs that I've chosen for us are more about my own yearning and our emotional vulnerability rather than just romance.

Rose's Theme: Dawn - CircusP ft. Solaria

"When the dusk draws on, I'll be your dawn."

I found the lyrics of this song to be really inspiring and the vibe fit perfectly for what I was going for for Rose, 'the hero of Mistria.'
SPOILERS: This song actually helped me further define Rose as in the lore, the Dragonsworn is meant to be the balance between both day (Caldarus) and night (Seridia). Dawn being daybreak, I thought that choosing it as her surname would represent her choice of balance over chaos.

This song is about a spring romance and the singer's hay fever which reminded me of March's feelings and allergies.

Reminds me of our beach dates and the Shooting Star Festival we celebrate at the end of each summer, celebrating and reaffirming our vows.

The story of this song is more intense than the lighthearted easygoing tale in Mistria, but the idea of being together always regardless of what's to come is so Rosarch.

That's the WHOLE song, and it's one of the most heartachingly Rosarch, particularly March things I've heard. Reminds me of our dancing at the Harvest Festival in autumn. ♥

I thought the song captured a little of how Rose first felt coming to Mistria since it felt like what saved her.

March doesn't like Rose upon meeting her, with abandonment issues and jealousy towards her for taking the attention off him, he forms a one-sided rivalry against her.
Growing up with a little brother, I know how they can be.; my relationship with my own brother is sort of like March and Olric's. However, I wasn't all that invested in Mistria when I first arrived. I wasn't a huge fan of Stardew Valley for some reason (maybe I felt overwhelmed? idk), so I didn't think I'd end up liking Fields of Mistria as much as I do.
- As a result of both those things, I couldn't find myself offended or even the slightest bit bothered by anything March said. Though if I could go back, I think I'd tease him a little more.
Anyways, the song is about emotional vulnerability between them, telling March that she's not really trying to steal the attention off of him, that "it doesn't have to end up wasting [his] time" (because she plans to stay).

Sometimes I think about how March's uptightness isn't just from being orphaned but also feeling abandoned a second time after the earthquake.
Sometimes I think about how March stifles his potential for Mistria.

Hanging Out to Dry - Florence Road

"Trust me, I'm not falling. No supersonic heartbeats in the morning."

A song that reminds me of how in-denial Rose is yearning for March.

In Between - Gracie Abrams

This song expresses finding love past hurt. I think they've both suffered enough, so it's really nice that they could find each other.
SPOILERS: One of March's struggles is that he is distrusting after some of the people of Mistria leave after the earthquake rather than repairing the town.

This song reminds me of our first kiss. He had apologized for giving me such a hard time and I muttered "Finally," but was also squealing.

"What a twist to hear it from you. It's like the filter's turning on. Who is this? What happened to you? Huh, hey, let me tell you how to repay"

"You saw through me all this time. I'd forgotten people are kind. I was hurting and you knew. So you showed me what to do."

There are certain lyrics that reminded me of how March acted while he was struggling after the earthquake.

Immediately I wanna say that this song is a bit more intense than my ship actually is, but I wanted to use it to talk about something I've never been able to express about them before. This song is about how being impulsive in love. I think Rosarch takes turns in each role, pulling the reins on the other when they do things without thinking.

"will you hold me when we crash or would you let me go?"

I don't think the either of Rosarch would ever let the other go since loyalty is one of the biggest themes and March's greatest values. The crash mentioned could be anything disasterous, ranging from a collapsing mine pit to magic.

This song is actually about a struggling ongoing romantic relationship and while that doesn't quite describe Rosarch while dating, some of the lines reminded me of March and Rose early on.

I found this song while playing around with music edits on Capcut and while I know the song is implying they slept together the night before, some of the lyrics really reminded me of their first Shooting Star Festival.
