Madoka Kaname:

• "...and I don't have any kind of talent that I could have pride in... And I'm sure I'll continue on like this, being no use to anyone and having to bother others for help... Thinking about that makes me feel so awful, I can't stand it. That's why, I think that just becoming a magical girl would fulfill my dreams." 

Of course, Rose turns out to be something different than a magical girl and has a totally different fate.

Ariane Yeong:

• The beginning of Rose's story shares some themes with Ariane's, and I can't say that Rose's actions or that the story of Signalis would have been much different if Rose had been in Ariane's situation.

Kokomi Teruhashi:

• "Even though she's already loved by everyone, she puts in the extra effort so everyone likes her even more." —Saiki Kusuo

• While Rose isn't and doesn't think herself as flawless as Teruhashi, she does joke about being favored by the gods (only for it to actually become true later) and I fear the praise of everyone does get to her head a little sometimes. However, she can still be humble outwardly, and she shares a similar inner voice to Teruhashi's that tries to guide her to be good.

• In other words, March isn't the only one with an ego, though more on this at another time. (ᗒ▽ᗕ) 

Luxanna "Lux" Crownguard:

• Rose's early guild backstory is heavily based on my experience playing League of Legends for years, hehe. I was a Lux Support main so my gameplay style is the base for Rose's combat (hence why she has NO sword experience in the beginning). However, the farmer character has no magic at the start of Fields of Mistria, so I made Rose an item spammer instead.

Ayano Tateyama:

• "Ehehe. I’m stupid, you know. So it can't be helped."

• Rose shares some of Ayano's insecurities and can be quick to put herself down in some cases. For example, she has a hard time calling herself a hero sincerely. (Regarding what I just said about Teruhashi, Rose's ego can be very back and forth at times. It can be hard to tell when it's actually faux ego...) 

Marinette Dupain-Cheng:

• "I told you from day one, Tikki. I'm a total klutz!"

• Like Marinette, the title of hero was seemingly just placed on a klutzy girl like her while it turns out to be fate.

• Though I've watched Miraculous Ladybug for years, I haven't caught up recently, but Mari's my Wasian representation. ⸜(*ˊᗜˋ*)⸝
