Research and Writing
I am interested in number theory and in particular, the spectral theory of automorphic forms. However, I enjoy chatting about any and all math, so please feel free to reach out!
Here are some essays and papers I have written:
In Fall 2023, My advisor gave a mini lecture series on special values of L-functions. Inspired to understand the elegant proof mechanism, I wrote up these notes.
In Summer 2021, I participated in the Hobart and William Smith REU. With Dr. Jennifer Biermann's supervision, Beth Anne Castellano and I investigated the regularity of toric ideals. Our paper is available on the arxiv and our poster is available here.
My undergraduate senior thesis was on Bernoulli Numbers and the Class Group of Cyclotomic Fields. Here is a talk on the same material I gave at UMN's Student Number Theory Seminar in Fall 2021.
In Summer 2019, with the support of the Carleton Summer Science Fellowship, I researched an iterative respacing method for polygonal curves. Under Dr. Rob Thompson's guidance, Milena Silva and I proved interesting results about the limiting behavior of this method. Our paper is available on the arxiv.
Here is a dramatic retelling of a proof of Burnside's paqb Theorem that I wrote as part of a course in undergrad.
