Connie
Connie is a Romanian-Moldovan Marble Blast Player, Speedrunner, Level Builder, Event Host, and Programmer. She is a developer for PlatinumQuest.
MB History
Joined the Main Server in the Summer of 2018 (Joined the forums on June 2015 and has been playing the game itself since 2008-2009).
Has created many levels over her Marble Blast career, two examples being Caminho Simples or Deeply Relaxed.
Became a developer for PlatinumQuest after the Mod Uprising in Early 2021.
In her spare time, likes to do CLA streams (now aimed at Marbleland) on her own server. the CLA streams are a series of streams where she tries to beat every single possible CLA level. documenting the impossible lebels along the way. As of August 2022, she started hosting the streams on the Main Community Server. On the last day of November in 2022, she beat the final possible level in the Custom Level Archive, becoming the only person who is known to have beaten the entire CLA. Following her achievement, on December 2022, she started doing Marbleland Streams, which follow a similar format as the CLA Streams, but this time aimed at beating every level currently hosted on Vani's Marbleland website.
Over her Marble Blast career, she has appeared in three World Record Rampages, once in the Webport WRR, once in the 1st PQ WRR, and twice in the Stop Deluxe Redux Beginner Best Time Rampage.
She has peaked in her tournament performance in the 2022 Gem Hunt Summer Tournament, where she went up against MBO, and despite losing to him 5-3, ended up on the 3rd place temporarily because of the point differential being +22 in her favor.
Real Life, Interests
She was born and raised in Romania by a family composed of Romanians and Russian-Moldovans.
Is a Romanian Nationalist, constantly praises the country, mostly unironically.
Besides Marble Blast, she is also interested in Geography, History, and Politics. Her interest and passion when it comes to politics has sparked her interest in joining the Romanian political scene, expressing most interest in joining USR, a liberal political party in the country.
Is an Italian-food addict.
Community History
She was formerly banned for being underage in 2015, at the age of 11, after the moderators figured out she was underage from her old Youtube Channel's About page. Shortly after being banned, she briefly came back on an alt called "UndercoverSpy99", which got banned again after revealing in the Webchat that it was her on an alt. She was unbanned in late 2017 after turning 13 and has been active in the community ever since.
Before being unbanned, she used to reside on the Marble Blast Forums, specifically in the Spam Board.
Used to be picked on for being horny on the Main Server.
As of Late August 2022, she has been hosting a few Level Building Events on stream in order to bring the community together. These streams have twists, such as her building a level blindfolded and the others guiding her, or others giving her tasks she has to complete in order to build a level. The first two sessions resulted in these two levels being created: Bluind-Filkd Maze and A Bridge Too Chaotic. This series of events is currently inactive.
As of December 2023, she has been hosting Co-op Traps Sessions, an event where a number of people gather together and try to beat Frosty's Traps level, currently thought to be the hardest Marble Blast level ever released. As of the time of writing this, the event series has seen 2 entries, both archived under the Lives section of her Youtube Channel. These halted following Marbleblast.com going offline.
As of mid February 2024, during the time when the PlatinumQuest leaderboards went offline due to a bot-net infection, she began being more active in the OpenMBU community, releasing Marble Blast Ultra Custom Levels (e.g. Sisyphus and Skate Ultra Park) and other pieces of content related to OpenMBU.
Yearly, she hosts a one-day Gem Hunt Mini-Tourney celebrating the banning of NintendoGamer2900, an infamous former community member known mostly for being a creep towards the minors of the Community. The first edition of the Mini-Tourney was in 2021. Editions are always hosted on the 24th of July of each year.
Memes
Before being unbanned, she made a bunch of noob mods that all died immediately or shortly after she announced them. Notable examples include: Marble Blast Alex's Island, Testing Initative Ball, and Marble Blast Blue.
She used to change her profile picture after short periods of time. This has sparked jokes about this habit of her's until she stopped.
Miscellaneous
Made a temporary replacement for the Marble Files, called the "Blast Archives", in response to the inactivity of the Marble Files, which sparked new interest among community members to revive the Marble Files.
