This artifact was completed during week 5 and was a group discussion post that i completed with my group and posted for us. The purpose of this artifact was to practice applying rhetorical concepts to field artifacts. I included this artifact because it was one of the first times we worked together and had to figure out the mechanics of rhetoric in the context of this class. Diving into the topics discussed in this post provided me insights into the smaller details found in rhetoric.
This artifact was composed during my multigenre persuasive campaign. The purpose of this artifact was to compose and complete a rhetorical analysis of a field artifact related to our semester topics. I included this artifact because creating this infographic allowed me to put myself in the position of a rhetorical audience and the genre conventions that come with infographics. This allowed me to further understand the topics discussed in this course and how to achieve the course goals.
This artifact was composed during my multigenre persuasive campaign. The purpose of it was to create an artifact that relates to a specific genre convention. I composed this blog post as an informative piece related to the purpose of using neuroplasticity as a form of rehabilitation and connecting to the audience in a new way. I included it because this was the first time I created anything like this, and it showed me a new perspective that audiences can have towards campaigns.
This artifact was completed during week 8 for my group. The goal of this artifact was to discuss the purpose and rhetorical situations of genres and the specific contexts that are found in each. I included this artifact because it was one of the times that I was required to speak in front of the class, and it built my public speaking skills. Similarly, creating this presentation allowed me to do a deep dive into rhetorical situations of genres and get a better understanding of this topic.
