Pack Events 2026 - 2027

Signature events

Rain Gutter Regatta — October 26, 2026. Scouts build and race their own sailboats down rain gutters. Boat kits are handed out at the September pack meeting.

Fall Campout — October 17–18, 2026. Our fall family campout, overnight. The whole family comes, and it's a good first campout if you've never done one.

Pinewood Derby — Saturday, January 30, 2027. The classic. Every Scout gets a car kit (included in pack dues), builds it at home, and races it on our track.

Blue & Gold Banquet — Saturday, March 6, 2027. Our biggest celebration of the year: dinner, entertainment, and the bridging ceremony where our Arrow of Light Scouts bridge to their Scouting America troops.

Von Oven Campout — May 1–2, 2027. Our spring campout and advancement ceremony. Closer than you'd think — the reservation is in Naperville, not a two-hour drive.

Year-round & TBD

• Monthly hikes: 3rd Sunday of each month, locations vary — watch Scoutbook and the Facebook group.

• Museum overnight ("Snoozeum"): MSI, Field Museum, or Shedd — TBD.
