Founded in the spring of 2025, Monroeville Area Pride and Community Aid (MAPCA) was born out of a desire to build a stronger, more connected community in Monroeville and the surrounding areas. Katie Baumgarten, the founder of MAPCA, organized the inaugural Monroeville Pride in the summer of 2024 as a private citizen, with the support of many dedicated local residents. Recognizing the need for a solid foundation to grow and sustain her vision, Katie established MAPCA to begin turning ideas into lasting impact.
