Our History

Manufactured and modular homes are precision-engineered in indoor facilities with the same quality construction materials used for stick-built housing. For four years running since 2016, a UMH community has been selected as the recipient of the Manufactured Housing Institute’s Land-Lease Community of the Year Award. We’ve earned this industry honor through dedicated involvement in the communities we operate, by continually making the capital improvements needed to maintain five star rated communities.

UMH also participates in many charities, organizations and events local to our communities, including chambers of commerce, community appreciation days, local Veteran’s appreciation events, fire department luncheons, school luncheons and resident barbecues.
