A high efficiency low noise buck converter for low current applications.

Converts up-to 80V DC to a lower voltage, selectable (via solder pads), 12.6, 7.5, 5.0 or 3.3V.
Provides a buck regulated output voltage with a high conversion efficiency.
The design is narrow and compact as possible to fit into designs as a module (typically vertically).
Up to a 1A (practical) output. Optional enable pin. Low noise / ripple output.
Conversion of higher input voltages for running power electronics or microcontrollers.

Surface mount comonents are kept on one side (for eas of production). Through hole components are located on the other. PCB traces are as thick as possible to minimise voltage drop and to also help conducted heat. Plated vias are also used to act as PCB heat sinking.
The output voltage is set by soldering pads together (A / B) and (C /D) which determine the voltage divider resistance.Â
Works well and as expected, can get warm under load, therefore a practically, the current should be kept below 1A when using higher input voltages.
Consistent, reliable and lose noie output. It is not tolerant to input voltages exceeding 80V.
