My name is Mandy Halloran and I am an Academic Advisor at the University of Utah within the College of Education and College of Social Work. I adjunct teach at UVU in the College of Science teaching human and physical geography.  

I graduated from Utah State University in Environmental-Human Geography. My studies led me to do GIS work for the Unified Fire Authority focusing on Natural Disaster Response. 

After working for the UFA, I transitioned to higher education because I love helping students accomplish their educational goals and seeing the hard work and accomplishments of my students. I have been working in higher education for 10+ years now.
