Manchester is only 2 hours from London by train and only a 35-minute flight to Dublin. There are 2 local airports near Manchester where you can fly all over Europe very inexpensively.

Spring Semester
Orientation: Late January
Semester Dates: Late January - Mid May
Holiday Break: Late March - Mid April
Exams: Mid May - Mid June. Students must be prepared to stay through the end of exams. Exam dates are not released until April so it is not possible to choose courses around exam dates. No alternative exams are possible.
