I am a Machine Learning Engineer at Torc Robotics working on perception systems for autonomous class 8 semi-trucks. Previously I was with the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI) advised by Dr. Monica Jones and Dr. Arpan Kusari on motion comfort, multi-modal learning and reliability of AI systems.
My research interests lie in out-of-distribution samples, adversarial attacks, and uncertainty quantification, specifically in computer vision, robotic perception, and machine learning.
I completed my Master's from the Department of Robotics at University of Michigan where I worked with Prof. Nima Fazeli and Miquel Oller on soft bubble tactile sensors. Before joining UMich, I was an intern at Guidance Control and Decision Systems Lab at the Indian Institute of Science with Prof. Debasish Ghose and Meenakshi Sarkar. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a double minor in Big Data Analytics and Mathematics from Shiv Nadar University, India where I worked with Prof. Snehasis Mukherjee on egocentric action recognition.
