I am a Ph.D. Candidate working on Intelligent Robotics at the Dept. of Aerospace Engineering, Indian Institute of Science (IISc Bangalore). I'm fortunate to be advised by Prof. Debasish Ghose and being a member of the Guidance, Control and Decision Systems Laboratory

I have collaborated with Prof. Evangelos Theodorou from Georgia Institute of Technology, USA and Prof. Raghu Krishnapuram at the Robert Bosch Centre for Cyber Physical Systems (RBCCPS). During my Ph.D. I've spent time at TCS Research (Innovation Labs) as a Summer Research Intern.

The primary focus of my research is on learning stochastic priors for multi-modal stochastic visual generative and predictive tasks for mobile platforms (Autonomous cars and mobile robots). Our most recent work focuses on learning stochastic priors that establish a causal relationship between image and camera action in scenarios where the camera is moving.  I also worked on creating an image-action pair sequence dataset called RoAM

Prior to joining IISc, I received a M.Tech in Mechatronics from CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute, Durgapur, India. I am a recipient of Gandhian Young Technological Award 2015 and INAE best MTech thesis award 2015.

I am trained in Hindisthani Classical music and love reading a good book while listening to music on my ear phones. I am an avid lover of pure Handloom Sarees (a traditional Indian attire) and the rich history that comes woven with that 6 yard of fabric.
