Roshni holds a degree in Finance, Accounting, and Management and has gained valuable experience working in the finance industry across Kenya, the UK, and France. Her international perspective and passion for economic development drive her commitment to creating opportunities for women in underserved communities.
Through Mama Maisha, Roshni is committed to uplifting women in Kenya’s informal sector by providing financial literacy and practical solutions – helping them grow their businesses, secure their futures, and lead with dignity.
Currently working as a Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft, Leyre focuses on Generative AI and cloud solutions. Leyre is also pursuing a Master’s in Big Data Science to enhance expertise in data analytics and problem-solving.
Leyre’s professional background includes roles in Competitive Intelligence and Industry Solutions at MongoDB, as well as a unique stint as a ski instructor. With an engineering foundation and international experience in Shanghai and Seoul, Leyre brings a global perspective to the intersection of technology and innovation.
As a collaborator with the Mama Maisha team, Leyre is deeply passionate about supporting initiatives that drive sustainable development and improve community outcomes. Through this work, Leyre aims to leverage technical expertise to contribute to innovative solutions that create lasting impact.
Born in Nigeria and raised in the United States, Mitchelle has found a passion for applying statistics in the social sciences. She has a strong interest in using numbers to tell stories of development.
Mitchelle recently graduated with an undergraduate degree in Statistical Science with a minor in Sociology. She is currently working as a Technical Program Manager at Microsoft while interning as a Statistician at the UN's Department of Economic and Social Affairs.
Through her efforts on the Mama Maisha team, she hopes to learn more about ways to best jumpstart initiatives on the continent.
Gema, currently studying in Seoul, has built a dynamic career in International Relations and corporate communication. Her professional journey is rooted in a passion for fostering meaningful connections, both within organizations and across cultures.

Anna, currently pursuing a Master of Law in Barcelona, has built a dynamic journey combining her passion for law, social impact, and innovation.
During her internships she has gained hands-on experience with complex legal matters and also founded Legis Podcast, a platform connecting aspiring lawyers with prominent legal professionals.
Her Exchange Student program at the University of Texas at Austin further enriched her international legal perspective and dedication to cross-border collaboration.
