School Adoption Program: Goverment Primary School, Pochammabasti, Gudimalkapur, Hyderabad

Adopted Government Primary school, Pochammabasti with a primary aim to improve the quality if Educaiton, reduce the dropouts and fund raise to consturct 2 additional classrooms.

Government Primary school building is currently having 2 classrooms and one veranda on with overall space of over 1350. sft . It is operating 1-5 th Std in Telugu and English Medium instruction. of land with 2.5 class rooms and a veranda. The school serves around 140 students with and operates in both English and Telugu medium with 54 teachers including HM andand 1 Vidya volunteer.

Initially the school was not well organised but with the help of some Corporate and Volunteer support school infrastructure improved we have by setting up a Digital Class, Science Lab with library (converting one classroom), Annual distribution of Notebooks to all the students and also introduced couple of activities like School Band, Drill and cultural and Extra Curricular. These programmes provide a balance to the intense academic life and they learn the importance of physical fitness through games.
