My research interest is primarily lies within the realm of sustainable tourism and heritage management. My research focuses on the investigation of local community and visitor behavior within cultural and natural heritage contexts and its implications for the sustainable heritage tourism development. Recent research has focused on tourists' pro-environmental behavior and loyalty toward heritage sites; the role of tour guides in enhancing the visitor experience and promoting sustainable behavior; assessing the perceptions of difference tourism stakeholders; and visitors’ value orientation toward heritage sites.
Moreover, I am actively involved in the development and application of visitor management frameworks, with the aim of providing well–informed recommendations to guide decision–making in heritage tourism management.
