Assignment 2: Social Media Ad Design Using Canva
The goal of this ad campaign is to increase sales of Autumn Glow UV-Protect Lip Gloss by KYLIE Cosmetics.
Ads will run on Instagram and the company's website for three weeks, with Ad 1 running in Week 1, Ad 2 running in Week 2, and Ad 3 running in Week 3. Ads will also be sent to customer email addresses.
The first ad will inform customers that the Autumn Glow UV-Protect Lip Gloss is coming soon. The second ad will reveal the new product, highlighting its autumnal shade range. The third ad will announce a limited-time offer for a free limited edition lip balm + lip gloss bundle when the lip gloss is purchased.
I expect customers will be engaged and excited in Week 1, generating anticipation for the product. Initial sales in Week 2 will be strong early in the week as customers respond to the product reveal. The ad in Week 3 will offer a free lip balm to incentivize purchases. I expect sales to peak during Week 3 as customers take advantage of the limited-time offer available.
Success will be measured by tracking how many customers click on the ad and complete their purchase of the lip gloss.
