With the Makey Makey, students can make any conductive material act as the input device for a computer. Because it comes preprogrammed, you do not need to have any coding experience to feel successful. However, you can easily begin to learn coding with Scratch or Arduino to push your learning to the next level.

Application of Learning Challenge: Conductor vs. Insulator
Challenge 1: Your challenge is to come up with three types of material that are conductive that could be used to make a controller with the Makey Makey.
Challenge 2: Your next challenge is to come up with three types of material that are not conductive, but serve as insulators that could be used in future Makey Makey Projects.
