Season 21 is over and done. We hope you have enjoyed the fierce racing and tough competition amongst the best skippers in VSK Racing.

CONGRATULATIONS to the top teams on the podium: MR, TTW and HDT Juniors. Outstanding top sailing by Magic Racing.

Thanks all for making this yet another thrilling top event: All who sailed, all Hosts and Video Operators and last, but not least, the Protest Committee.

It is always a pleasure to race with top skippers who really enjoy SAILING and we strive to keep Virtual Skipper alive.

Some other skippers forget that VSK is not only a game. It is also a race sailing simulator that attracts many skippers who race in real life. We hope you are all with us in our job to keep VSK "clean" and respected, as well as to guide honest and serious newcomers into the mysteries of VSK.

We hope to be back for a new Season when the beauty of autumn prevails.

During this break, the race committee will review the rules and other conditions to make the regatta even more attractive. Maybe today there are too many penalties and rules discussions that scare away other teams and skippers. Yes! It is a top regatta, but we want to recreate the original idea and spirit. Enjoy and have fun!

2025-04-01 Breaking News. Donald Trump buying Virtual Skipper!

President Trump has just announced that he is buying Virtual Skipper (VSK) from Ubisoft/Nadeo. The purchase price is secret, but he claims that all skippers using VSK will benefit and be rich. The game will have a new name: “Great America Sailing”.

Marco Rubio will be responsible for worldwide marketing, including banning of skippers from countries not supporting USA. Skippers from certain countries must pay an extra fee to use the game. 

Elon Musk will via his new company SailX, reform the whole concept. Unnecessary obstacles such as Race Committees, Rules and Protest Committees will be scrapped. He will decide what is right and what is wrong.

Robert F Kennedy Jr will set up Health Controle Centres to check that skippers are not vaccinated.

The headquarters for “Great America Sailing”, will be located in “Donald Trump Spa Resort” in Gaza.

HERE WE GO AGAIN - ARE YOU READY? - 21st SEASON!

Join this top event !!!

MLS Race Committee is very happy to invite you to MLS – Season 21.

The first race day will be Tuesday, March 11. Then every other Tuesday. This means the Grande Finale will be on May 6. All races starting at CET/CEST 21:00. 

This is an invitation regatta. The invitation is sent to most skippers who participated or registered in recent seasons and some other skippers known as good, fair, and honest VSK skippers.

It is a team event using Fleet Race Rules, or rather: A Fleet Race event, where skippers are members of a certain team. Each racing boat gets points that are added together and determine the team’s result and position for each race.

Create, or try to join, a team and send in Application/Registration.

A team or a skipper does not have to belong to a specific club. If you do not have a team, register anyway and maybe we can help you to form a team or be a part of an existing team.

Read the Sailing Instructions and the Rules. There may come some changes in Sailing Instructions (S.I.) and Rules. Follow the News and other pages on our website Major League Sailing (google.com) , the MLS Discord channels and check your mail regularly.

To start from scratch, we want you to fill out the Application/Registration form on Major League Sailing - S.I. (google.com), regardless whether or not you were registered some previous season.

NOTE! Each individual skipper MUST send in Application/Registration form.

We really need HOSTS and VIDEO RECORDING operators. Please tick in boxes if you can help.

First come – first served. This means that the quicker you register a team, the more likely you will be granted a spot in the regatta. The number of servers, teams and racing skippers on each server will depend on the number of registered teams. We prefer to have 15 teams (3 servers), but we might run the regatta with either 10 or 12 teams (2 servers) or 18 teams (3 servers). The first 10, 12, 15 or 18 teams with at least 3 registered skippers will be guaranteed a place in the tournament.

3 skippers/team will participate in each race. A team can have a maximum of 12 members.

Registration deadline. Deadline for registering a team with at least 3 members will be 4 days ahead of first race. New individual team members can be added any time during the event up to and including race day 4.

The Teams/Skippers finally allowed to participate, will be decided by MLS Race Committee at their own discretion.

Virtual Skipper is a simulation/game application. Even so, we want to emulate real sailing competition as far as possible. The rules are based on World Sailing’s ”Racing Rules of Sailing 2025-2028” (RRS) and we have a Protest Committee and Jury decisions.

Many people talk about being ”fair”. The word ”fair” can be treacherous. It may mean different things to different people in different cultures. To us, fair sailing, means to obey and follow RRS. These rules are the same for all racing skippers all over the world.
