A lifelong exciting career in STEM is all that I want for now....
4) l did a SELF PROJECT on " Nonlinear Regression of Some Sequences - A Brief Study" during the months of March-April 2021.
ABSTRACT - Sequences and Constants have been an integral part of Recreational Mathematics. In this article, we shall consider some very interesting sequences, discuss about them briefly and employ various computational and statistical tools to analyze them using an initial data set. We will also investigate the efficiency of our models and find out which one admits the best curve fitting.
Tools used by me include : Sci Davis, Overleaf, Casio Fx 82 MS calculator and last but not the least, OEIS.
The complete project dissertation can be found here . The work was completely without supervision or guidance of any kind.
5) Working on a Number Theory project with Prof. Bibekananda Maji, IIT Indore. Check out.
6) I recently completed a project, as a part of my PHS1201L course at IACS (Ins - Prof. Mintu Mondal ). See it here. I tried to be as interdisciplinary as possible.
7) I did an Internship under Dr. Sweta Tiwari on Dynamical Systems(August - September 2021).
8) In August September 2021(yes, almost simultaneously with the previous one), I did a Short Term Research Internship under Prof. Angsuman Das on Graph Theory.
9) Few months back, I did an Independent project on Popular Science, about which I am really proud. Kindly have a look at this . I am sure you will enjoy!
10) I did a Reading Project on Partial Differential Equations under Dr. Abhishek Sarkar of IIT Jodhpur.
11) Will be participating in AWS 2022 !!!
12) Participated in an exciting Essay Writing Contest organized by the Department of Mathematics, University of Mumbai where I wrote my first Expository article as a tribute to the legendary Indian Mathematician K.G Ramanathan. It was really a nice experience.
13) Coauthoring my first book at 19 was never in my dreams! Finally, the work for VIGYAN VIDUSHI is complete!!
14) Recently, I bought a book from the Kolkata Book Fair on the History of Jadavpur University. Little did I know that a fantastic coincidence was on its way! Some days back, I got an invitation to write a paper on the history of JU for VIPNET. What a perfect timing!!
15) I am attending the ICTS Summer School on Curves and Surfaces (Course Webpage ) 2022, which is being taught Prof. Samuel Joseph. Really a nice experience, learned many new and exciting things.
16) Spent summer 2022 at NISER!
17) Completed a first half of work under the Supervision of Dr. Fai Chandee, KSU!

19) Here are the slides of my first MS presentation.
20) Here are the slides from my second MS presentation.
The general method which I adopt while doing work in Popular Science and History of Science is - reading articles(mainly from Jstor), which are of various types, like Tribute Articles or Informative ones(actually, I am always in search of these), reading various Social Media posts by renowned Scientists, reading papers published in various magazines, books(have a small collection) and of course, a little bit of self thought and a tinge of creativity!
Someday, I dream of becoming a researcher. Umm, maybe someone like this :
