Maine Lightning teams are organized by birth year in accordance with Soccer Maine, Maine State Premier League, & US Soccer. Each team has an age-appropriate focus that maximizes player development.

Reduced rate on strength, conditioning, & injury prevention program with Beyond Strength Maine.
Maine State Premier League for the spring.
Optional extra: tryout to go to USYS Regional tournament in June - the Presidents’ Cup for 2024.

Player fees do not include the cost of uniforms. We ask for a financial commitment upfront as Maine Lightning Soccer Club must pay fees such as player registrations, leagues, tournaments, facility costs, and other necessary operational costs.

80% of Full-Time Players Cost - Pool Player spots allow a player to train with the team, along with having eligibility to participate in League games and tournaments as a fill in if a full roster player cannot attend.

We compete in the New England Club Soccer League (NECSL) for the spring.
Optional extra: tryout for our 207 Select Teams.

Our U23 team trains once a week starting in late June and participates in local friendlies and a regional summer tournament (other participating clubs are Rosevelt SC, Kennedy Park FC, Seacoast United, and local men's open teams).
