Postdoctoral Researcher/Associate Research Scientist Position available
The Liao Laboratory is currently seeking research scientists at various levels, from Postdoctoral Researchers to Associate Research Scientists. The lab uses single-molecule imaging, genetic manipulation, whole-cell super-resolution microscopy, machine-learning, and physical modeling to understand how neuron structures and functions emerge from the elementary molecular processes, under both normal development and pathological stresses.

A competitive salary will be offered, commensurate with experience. The position is fully funded for at least three years. Start date is flexible. Qualifications and requirements
Ph.D. in Biophysics/Physics or related discipline
Highly motivated, able to work independently, and in a team environment
Microscopy experience is required, including confocal imaging
Experience with neuronal cytoskeleton, optogenetics, quantitative imaging analysis, training and supervising undergraduates/graduates in a laboratory setting will all be assets to this position.
