Its no wonder that the Market House took the Mayfair spot on the board. Since the £1million refurb in 2018, which saw the pub rebranded from Earls, they have gone on to win "Shepherd Neame Pub of the Year" in 2019. The reinvention also saw a much improved food offer boasting a menu which includes everything from small tapas-style plates and superfood salads to spinach tortilla wraps and burgers, all of which are freshly cooked using local ingredients. They haven't lost the reputation for live music either, with regular gigs on weekends. The drinks offer is unique too, but there's something for everyone.
