An underground micropub who pride themselves on having no fruit machines and juke box, just beer and good company. Described as and alehouse so as you might expect there is a range of well-kept cask ales from all corners of the country, but always with a strong local representation from local beer and cider. Their weekly Pub quiz is well worth a look.
Head up the stairs and continue out of the courtyard to the road. Turn right and cross the road and follow on over the bridge. Continue until the pedestrian traffic lights opposite Fremlins Walk. Cross the road and head up Earl Street until it ends at Week Street. Turn left, then take the next right onto Union Street. Your next venue is 350 yards ahead on your right.
Head up the stairs and continue out of the courtyard to the road. Turn right and cross the road and follow on over the bridge. Stay left and follow the path down to the river. Go through the subway on your right and your next venue is just on the right as you exit.
