Recognized for developing a FAIR and reproducible framework for depth-resolved visualization and modeling of ecosystem metabolism in an oligotrophic lake, built from high-frequency diel and seasonal field data collected at Stephens Lake in Franklin, Tennessee. The project adapted the LakeMetabolizer model using an ordinary least squares approach to estimate instantaneous, rather than daily mean, metabolism parameters, enabling higher-resolution characterization of diel metabolic fluctuations across seasonal light and temperature regimes. It also includes a custom R script for generating three-dimensional depth profiles of dissolved oxygen and photosynthetically active radiation, providing spatial context for oxygen dynamics through the water column. The resulting dataset and code are archived on Zenodo as a FAIR-compliant, open resource for lake metabolism research. Supported by NSF award #2209863.
