What Meditation Is and Isn't
Not: A ritual, intellectual pursuit, holiday, or escape from life's challenges.
Is: A practical method to overcome suffering, purify the mind, and lead a balanced and a happy life.
It aims for eliminating cravings, aversions, and ignorance within oneself.
Who Can Practice Meditation?
It’s open to people of all backgrounds and religions without the intention of conversion.
It’s not a medical treatment and isn’t suitable for people with severe mental disorders.
The Code of Discipline
To benefit fully, meditators must follow strict guidelines, as they create the ideal environment for practice:
Moral Conduct (Sīla): Abstain from killing, stealing, sexual activity, lying, and intoxicants.
Concentration (Samādhi): Focus the mind through meditation.
Wisdom (Paññā): Cultivate insight through direct experience.
Course Rules
Precepts for New Students:
Follow the five basic precepts.
Precepts for Old Students:
Abstain from eating after midday (not compulsory but recommended), sensual activities, and using luxurious items.
Noble Silence: No communication with others except the teacher or management for essential issues.
Separation of Genders: Men and women remain fully segregated throughout the course.
No Physical Contact: Avoid touching others entirely.
No Outside Distractions: No books, music, writing, or gadgets. (Note: Bring new and small note book to note down the important points during the course)
Simple Living: Wear modest clothes (no revealing, transparent or short pants), eat vegetarian meals, and stay within the course boundaries.
Teacher and Technique
Students must follow the teacher's guidance fully, without adding or omitting practices.
Avoid mixing other techniques or rituals during the course.
Course Funding
Courses run on donations from past students, ensuring no commercial interests. Participants are encouraged to donate after experiencing the benefits themselves at the end of the course at the office, or meet Manager at the course end.

Success in meditation requires discipline, effort, patience and adherence to rules. Meditate with focus, avoid distractions, and trust the process to purify the mind and achieve peace.
