As part of my masters degree program, I completed an my experiential module project. Though I had many options to choose from (action research, conference participation, immersion program participation, and others), I decided to do my project in materials design given that I had recently been hired to teach Spanish 2 and 4 at a high school that implements the International Baccalaureate (IB) programs and I needed to prepare my course plans and materials for the upcoming school year, especially because this would be my first time teaching high school Spanish in the United States and with the IB curriculum.
