MAEOP Committees
Advertising &Publicity
This committee promotes special events and meetings of the Association to the general public.This committee focuses on promoting positivity of MAEOP by producing promotional brochures, Magnolia Miss Newsletter and marketing materials, press releases, and more. Also, the committee ensures the advertising of sponsorships .
Affiliations
This committee focuses on developing associations of educational office personnel to affiliate with MAEOP with the affiliations program and monitor Educational Administrator and Educational Office Professional of the Year Program. The affiliations committee also assess the Advisory Council.
Budgets Committee
This committee focuses on creating and maintaining the annual budgets for annual conference and other events.
By-Laws &Long Range Planning
This committee focuses on review the bylaws and standing rules, updating bylaws, and incorporate any provisions necessary corrections to follow the mission and vision of MAEOP. Also, this committee reviews programs ,processes, and functions to make recommendations for change.
Membership
This committee focuses on promoting both new and renewal of membership and for maintaining an current and accurate record of all members.
Nominations
This committee focuses on leadership within its members and ensures fairness in nominations and elections for voting of potential new officers.
Professional Standard Program (PSP)
This committee focuses on accreditation of the Professional Standards Program and certification and recertification of applicants and assigning designations in MAEOP.
Scholarship
This committee focuses on review of criteria for scholarship, application process and designating scholarship certificates.
Ways & Means
This committee focuses on fundraising events and sponsorships for annual conference, scholarships and awards, and donations to community.
Conference
This committee focuses on creating and hosting the MAEOP annual conference , which includes but not limiting to hotel accommodations, registration, program , and speakers and vendors.
