Professional Development Seminar
We are excited to announce the upcoming Professional Development Seminar hosted by the University of Southern Mississippi AOP on Friday, October 17, 2025.
Join us for a dynamic professional development seminar featuring topics such as leadership, conflict resolution, mental wellness and professional profiles.Our speakers include Mayor Toby Barker of Hattiesburg, President Joseph Paul, Dr. Emily Holmes, David Tolbert, Rusty Anderson and Danyella Berry-Terrell.
Registration for Professional Development Seminar is on the MAEOP website which includes PDS registration form, PDS agenda, MAEOP membership form, and hotel registration info and Paypal link for payment. PDS registration deadline is October 3,2025. Hotel reservation deadline is October 6, 2025.
Signature Programs
Professional Standards Program (PSP)
Our Professional Standards Program, a multi-level professional certification program, is recognized by local districts, state education departments, and higher education institutions across the country. This program culminates with earning our highest distinction, Certified Educational Office Employee (CEOE) or Certified Educational Support Employee (CESE).
Professional Development
Our Professional Development program allows for speakers to share the opportunities of advancement, through knowledge and gained skills at conference, seminars and webinars. Members are encouraged to participate as speakers as well through Field Service for MAEOP.

On March 27, 1949, forty three secretaries met at Le Fleur’s Bluff State Park in Jackson, Mississippi and the association was established. Mississippi Association of Educational Office Professionals has over 100 members, over 6 affiliates, and is nationally recognized by the National Association of Educational Office Professionals.
