This ted talk focuses on how students, specifically black girls are discriminated against in schools. Monique Morris talks about how the education system needs to change to allow equal and safe opportunities for all students no matter their race or gender. I believe that Monique has some amazing points about the education system. She talks about the harsh reality of how certain students are being treated and how we as teachers can prevent that from happening. Her ted talk gives a voice to the black girls who are being discriminated against and silenced within the school system.
