Below you will find information about me, including my credo, background, experiences, and aspirations.
The quote to the left is my credo ("always be kind to others"), which is also known as words I live by. I believe this has a strong influence on my leadership style and goals.
I was born and raised in Northern New York and have lived here since. I went to elementary and high school at General Brown Central School District. In my high school years, I developed a strong dedication to learning which is one of the reasons I have pushed myself so far in my college education.
I have an Associate's Degree in Childhood Education and another in Business Administration from SUNY Jefferson. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from SUNY Potsdam and am working toward a Master's in Management degree. During my education, I have learned valuable information and skills that I will continue to use throughout my life.
I work at Target and have worked there for four years, where I am a Guest Advocate. I work in customer service, train new employees, and am participating in a leadership development program. From my experience at Target, I have gained lots of knowledge regarding communication, organizational information, and leadership qualities.
I thoroughly enjoy traveling, which has allowed be to apply some of my education in the real world when perceiving different cities, countries, and ways of life. I have grown an appreciation for the differences we have in different areas of the country, and other countries.
I aspire to become a leader who brings compassion, empathy, and dedication to the workplace. I want to strongly lead a business to success and create a safe and enjoyable environment for employees to work in daily. The combination of this and my appreciation for differences inspired me to focus on diversity and inclusion and inclusive leadership, which is present on the next page.
