Research Interests
Broadly, my research interests are in epistemology, philosophy of science, and philosophy of religion.
In epistemology, I am interested in epistemic normativity, history of epistemology, and uncertainty. I focus on virtue responsibilism and how epistemic responsibilities are conferred and, more specifically, how epistemic responsibilities combat uncertainty and vulnerability.
In philosophy of science, I am interested in the methodology of economics and the role that institutions play in social scientific analysis. I focus on the Austrian school of economics and their opposition to mathematical and statistical methods.
In philosophy of religion, I am interested in the epistemology of faith, warrant/justification of belief, arguments for/against theism, and arguments for/against Jesus's divinity. I focus on the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam).
