Public Philosophy

Recently, academic philosophers have been making a stronger effort to make their work intelligible to a general audience, calling it "public philosophy." I join them in attempting to communicate the importance of philosophical inquiry and liberal arts education broadly.

Many of the articles I write correspond to readings from coursework during my undergraduate studies. Some of them are from personal readings that I have done in my free-time. Others correspond to areas of ongoing or past research.

All public philosophy essays are available on my Medium page: maddoxlarson.medium.com.
