MACRO-POP Workshop on “Macroeconomic Shocks and Inclusive Societies: The Implications of Macroeconomic Shocks for the Rise of Populism in Europe and the Erosion of EU Identity ”
The University of Macedonia and the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (H.F.R.I.) jointly organized the MACRO-POP Workshop on "Macroeconomic Shocks and Inclusive Societies: The Implications of Macroeconomic Shocks for the Rise of Populism in Europe and the Erosion of EU Identity". The Workshop took place on November 12, 2025 at the University of Macedonia (5th floor, Building, Room 509).
The workshop featured presentations on topics related to macroeconomics, political economy, and social change, and a keynote lecture by Prof. Maria Petrova (Barcelona School of Economics).
The event was open to the public, and everyone interested was warmly welcome to attend.
