One of my primary functions is to train graduate students and move science forward. To accomplish this task, assistantships are offered to the most qualified student applicants, allowing students to pursue their PhD with support from various funding sources. We are especially interested for meritorious students with interests in mechanics and manufacturing of composites. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are important.
We encourage students who are interested in PhD positions to apply for admission which is advertised from time to time (typically twice a year). Interested students may also send their CV electronically to Dr Atul Jain.
All interested PhD candidates from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam can enroll for a doctoral program in India: http://asean.iitd.ac.in/. The composites group will be happy to support the application if there is a match in interest. Interested students may also send their CV electronically to Dr Atul Jain.
Word of caution: Joining the M3S group is like joining the "special forces", only motivated students are encouraged to apply. Quoting Elon Musk (replace Tesla with M3S Group while reading) - "the general understanding is that if you’re at Tesla, you’re choosing to be at the equivalent of Special Forces. There’s the regular Army, and that’s fine, but if you are working at Tesla, you’re choosing to step up your game."
I do not have internship projects available at the moment. Please do not mail me requesting for the same. I may not be able to reply to each mail individually. Any internship positions available would be advertised here from time to time
