Diversity and inclusion Workshop
Ana López Navajas (Valencia, 1962) is a teacher of Language and Literature and advisor on Coeducation and Equality in Teacher Training at the Department of Education, Research, Culture and Sport of the Generalitat Valenciana. In her research she has analyzed the absence of women and their productions in the scientific, cultural and historical fields in the contents and textbooks of secondary education and the implications of this absence. Her work is aimed at the recovery and outreach of the cultural, scientific and historical legacy of women, especially within the field of education and culture.
Mental Health Workshop
Naiara Martínez Gómez, General Health Psychologist at the centre "Gomma psicología clínica". She is currently working as a Research Technician in the "Actions for affective-sexual and gender diversity" programme at the Universitat Jaume I and associate lecturer in the department of Basic, Clinical and Psychobiology Psychology at the Universitat Jaume I.
The workshop will cover identifying distress and its negative consequences, adaptive stress management in key situations (such as presenting papers and articles, balancing family and student life, and managing study and theses), the negative consequences of distress, and key guidelines from the psychological field to promote positive management of these issues.
