DISABLE THE LABEL
I founded Disable the Label to diminish the negative stigmas placed on people with disabilities - stigmas like 'unworthy,' 'incapable,' 'unfit,' and 'powerless.' We organize a large, carnival-like event for everyone to enjoy a joyful and memorable day. Our goal is to raise money for a selected underappreciated business that supports people with disabilities in living their best lives. Money in the past has been used to create a sensory garden, start a new art program within the facilities, building renovations, and help cover individuals' costs!
