This "DIY" project took me about a month to finish it. It would be easier to buy one, but i am "DIY" fan. The material used is brass. I bought solution for gold plating only to protect it from oxidation, but i did not like the gold and later I deside to leave it "as is" - pure polished brass. Someday I hope to see his "antique look".

After some work with this key I found a design error. The center of the arms is shifted in wrong direction. Small movement of the fingers make big movement at the contacts, thus increasing the errors at higher speeds. If you make a key like this, you have to think about correction.
