Boarding

What does a boarding service include?

Walks (for dogs) to relief your pet's business as necessary (morning, afternoon, evening)
Play and engagement time - pets would be socialised according to their comfort level
Feeding schedule
Treats as a bonding tool
Daily updates

Services such as showers/grooming, transport, medicine administration or post-op care are subject to additional charges.

Depending on the day of the week/length of stay, pets may be left unsupervised for up to 3-4 hours. Minimal unsupervised hours may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.

Where will my pet sleep?

For cats: All cats will retire in the cat room. Separated cat rooms are only available if cats do not get along with each other.
For small dogs (<10kg): Pets may sleep in the common area or at the baby-gated kitchen area which opens to a back porch.
For medium-large dogs (>10kg): Pets must sleep in the front porch. There is also an enclosed section behind a grill sliding door for privacy.

All pets will be socialised before being mixed during sleeping or unsupervised hours. Otherwise, arrangements on their separation will be made based on availability.

I cannot accommodate pets who need a companion during sleep hours or throughout the entire day. (eg. high separation anxiety)

Are meals included for boarding?

Pet owners are required to supply adequate pet food during their stay as their daily meals are highly recommended to comply with their present diet. Doing so will reduce unnecessary stress or dietary complications.
Treats are available and used as a bonding tool with your pet. Please advice on allergies.
Additional fees apply in procuring or preparing meals.

Check-In/Out 9am - 4pm

Timings need to be scheduled ahead and are subject to availability. Boarding works on a 24-hour cycle (eg. 9am - 9am). Extensions are subject to another night's charge.

What should I pack for my pet's stay?

Please prepare adequate meals during your pet's stay. Dogs shall check-in with their leashes while cats with their carriers. Packing their favourite chew toy or sleepy blanket would help them feel better while they're away from home.
Food bowls, towels, and basic pet care tools are all available here. There are ample toys and treats for your pet's amusement but feel free to spoil your pet by packing more.

Will cats mix with dogs?

Cats and dogs will never mix.

However, when there are days with no indoor dogs, or no cats, I may open up more common areas for either pets to roam the house. Pets are living in my home and I do my best to ensure a comfortable stay for all so free-roam of the house is subject to overall boarding arrangements and are adapted as required based on what all pets are comfortable with.

I am looking for long-term boarding (> 2 weeks). What should I know?

Long-term arrangements will require a meet and greet ahead of service date as well as a full discussion on service coverage and pet profile.
The best pets that thrive in my home in a long term arrangement are social pets with good home manners and can be left unsupervised for up to 3-4 hours.
Pets that do not fair well in my home setting on a long-term basis are pets with destructive habits, separation anxiety, possessiveness over attention, or being highly territorial. Indoor dogs must be house-trained.

Please expect that other pets will be boarding during your pet's length of stay. Pets will be sharing my entire home living space and may enjoy free-roam around the house. This means that your pet's daily life would surely intersect with mine. They will be acquainted with my neighbours and their pets during walks or outdoor play time, they may join me while I do yoga in the living room, they might salivate as I have my meal by the dinning table. If your pet typically requires a playpen or a private/enclosed space for most of a regular day in your home, this may not be a suitable boarding service for you.
Apart from ensuring your pet is comfortable and happy in its new temporary home, I will cultivate good habits and employ training as necessary so your pet may abide by house rules.

Discounted rates may be available on a case-by-case basis. Advanced lump sum payments or deposits apply.

Do you take last-minute requests?

Highly unlikely especially during public holidays or peak periods (weekends & public holidays).
If you're looking for boarding on fully booked dates, do consider a house visit instead if your pet handles that well.

House Visits/In-House sitting

What does a house-call service include?

For cats: Refreshing food and water bowls, scooping cat litter, quick-clean surfaces/pet messes, some quality time with your cats if they are social, updates
For dogs: 10-20min walk, feeding, refreshing water bowl, some quality engagement time with your dog if they are social. (max.30 min)
For active dogs: 20-30min walk, feeding, refreshing water bowl, some play/training reinforcement engagement time. (max.1 hour)

Treats may be provided as a bonding tool. Please advice on allergies.
Services such as showers/grooming, transport, medicine administration or post-op care are subject to additional charges.

I am looking for staying-in house-sitting. How do I go about that?

Stay overnight house-sitting will require an in-house meet and greet as well as a full discussion on service coverage and living arrangements a month prior to service commencement. Minimum service period of two weeks apply.
