There are many ways to “change the world”, cited in everything from self-help books to superhero comics. They say a kind act can cause ripples throughout the world, or an opportunity to make a difference will come knocking. However, reality is different. “This Is How You Change a World” focuses not on how you change the world, but how you change a world – someone’s world. Rather than worrying about the ripple effect of your actions, help others and you can change their whole world.

My poem, "My strength," relates to "I Will Change the World By… ", as it shows how we can change the world by playing to our strengths, and by using our skills to find and eliminate problems in the world today. When people work on problems and topics that interest and suit them, they can do much more. It also shows how people working together can make up for the shortcomings of one another and help move humanity into a new age of balance.

"Our world is constantly changed by words, by news articles, books, songs. But there are fewer words that manage to change the world of a person, that's what ""Little Women"" did for me. Her book not only changed the world and still does, but it changed the worlds of so many girls who grew up to become their own version of a March sister. I hope that one day I will write a book, and maybe not many people will read it, maybe the word won't remember it, but I hope that it touches n someone's heart and that someone's world is changed by my own words."
