The teacher effectively engages students in learning by using a variety of instructional strategies in order to meet individual learning needs.
Students were exposed to the concept of stem-changing verbs two classes before this one through visuals and the analogy of "boots verbs" all in the context or "daily routines" theme. In this class we practiced daily routines verbs with stem-changing through Sudokus in a collaboratively way.

This is a hands-on activity to meet individual needs of students.
Verb conjugations are important in Spanish and sometimes hard to understand and memorize for some students.
This activity allows the teacher to spend some individual time with them physically conjugating verbs. We break down the verb into the root and the ending and we combine them following different patterns. The student gets to experience conjugations in a different way, targeting a different intelligence, the kinesthetic intelligence, in a language class (Gardner's).
