Thursday, September 7, 6:30 - 7:30pm, meet in Friendship Park at Mathilda and Friendship Ave.
Did you know that Oak trees are home to more than 500 species of insects, providing food for a range of birds? Tree Pittsburgh will lead us on a walk through Friendship Park to identify what tree species are in the park, their importance to birds and other wildlife, and how they help us humans! You will be introduced to both the established and recently planted trees and how to care for them.
