Privacy policy

Your privacy is important to me. All information shared during our sessions will be kept confidential, except in cases where disclosure is required by law (e.g., risk of harm to self or others, related to a missing person or serious criminal activity, a court subpoena). If I need to disclose information for the exceptional circumstances above, I will discuss this with you first whenever possible. 

As a professional therapist, I have a supervisor to support my therapy work. In order to give you the best support, I will at times discuss our work with my supervisor. My supervisor is also bound to the same confidentiality statement above.  

Record Keeping

I will maintain records of our sessions, which will be stored securely via Halaxy. You can read more about Halaxy's data security polices and procedures here https://www.halaxy.com/article/security. If you would like records after each session to be made available to you, please let me know and we can decide how to do this securely. You have the right to access your records upon request.
