I have worked with around 25 undergraduate research assistants who worked on coding, applied microeconomics, digitization of historical records, and geospatial analysis. I have also served on the thesis committees of 8 students.
I mentor three types of students during job searches and graduate school applications: (i) thesis students, (ii) research assistants, (iii) the top students in my classes.
The mentorship process includes: (a) advising students on applications and professional interviews, (b) writing recommendation letters, (c) reaching out to my professional network, and (d) serving as a work and academic reference.
