Bio. I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics at William & Mary, and an Affiliate to the Global Research Institute (GRI). I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan.
Primary fields: International Trade, Urban Economics
Secondary fields: Economic History, Economic Growth, Development.
Research agenda. For my research, I use both trade and spatial general equilibrium models and applied microeconomics tools.
My international trade and economic geography agenda focuses on comparative advantage, structural transformation, regional growth, transportation, and trade-development.
My urban economics and real estate economics agenda centers on spatial inequality, taxation, public goods, and the economic history of cities.
