They have stated that they have been hit by ransomware which is a trojan virus that extorts money from people by taking control of the system. As a result of the attack, the company's deliveries were disrupted and the cash registers experienced many issues. The company announces that customer data has not been touched because it is stored on a third party system. You can keep your system safe from ransomware by making sure your operating system is up to date and using multi layer security.

Tournament winning Smash Bros dweeb MkLeo gets his twitter hacked by NFT and crypto freaks. Hackers posted NFT images on his twitter and changes his profile picture to a NFT zombie with a cross earring. The tweets also contained links to scam websites. MkLeo was able to get his twitter account back and the NFT tweets were taken out. The type of cyber security attack used was hacking. You can protect yourself from getting hacked by using a password with capital letters, lowercase, and special characters/symbols. You should also change your password regularly because the credentials that get found out are usually old.

A 27 year old man living it Mursfreesboro had their wallet stolen. The victim that got their wallet stolen found out that the thief was trying to buy a car only 3 miles from his home using his identity. The dealer would not elaborate on what the suspect looked like or how they were attempting to make the purchase. To this day they still have not found who it was though thankfully the purchase did not go through. The case is still open ended but it is not uncommon that people try to finance cars with identity theft. The cyber security attack was identity theft. You can void getting your identity stolen by keeping a constant eye on your credit card, protecting your mail, and safeguarding your Social Security Number.
