Response has its own requirements for you to be eligible for transfer out of the unit, some of these requirements overlap with other units' requirements to transfer into them but not all.
Response command have final say over all transfers and can refuse transfers based on performance/activity or other reasons regardless of requirements being met.
You must have completed your training in National Police Air Service (Basic) and/or your training for Dog Support Unit (Basic).
You must have completed your Marine Policing Operations Deckhand training.
You must have completed your Advanced Driver training unless transferring to CID.
You must be trained to the Level 2 Standard in the Police Support Unit unless transferring to Firearms.
You must have been in Response as a Constable for at least 30 Days.
You must have been a substantive Constable for at least 30 Days.
You must be able to drive and communicate to a high standard.
You must not have current warning points related to driving.
You must be Taser Trained.
You must have been a substantive Constable for at least 30 Days.
You must be Taser Trained.
You must not have active warning points.
You must be IIT Trained.
You must have a strong moral principle of Integrity.
You must possess all the training required to leave Response. (Refer to Response Transfer Out Requirements)
You must not be currently suspended.
You must not have active warning points.
You must be a Firearms Trained Officer (FTO)
