HIGH COMMAND OFFICERS
Superintendent in Chief
The Superintendent in Chief is the highest ranking individual in the Police Department. As the General Manager of the Police Department, the Superintendent in Chief is responsible for planning, efficient administration, and the operation of the Police Department. In this capacity, the Superintendent in Chief responsibilities include:
Holds full responsibility of the department and it's employees.
May employ Civilians into the Police Department.
May promote Officers of any rank to any rank.
May demote Officers of any rank to any rank.
May dismiss Officers of any rank.
Manages the Department's public relations and relations with government and governmental agencies.

Superintendent
The Superintendent is an executive to the Superintendent in Chief who manages the department in their absence. The Superintendent commonly holds the role of Chief of Staff, which oversees all of the department's administrative functions. Other responsibilities include:
In control of the Department should the Superintendent in Chief be unavailable for extended periods of time.
On par with the Superintendent in Chief, beside the requirement of informing the Superintendent in Chief prior to any large-scale changes being made.

Deputy Superintendent
The Deputy Superintendent directs the activities of the Police Department. The Deputy Superintendent is responsible for staffing and management of all operations and reports directly to the Assistant Chief of Police.
May serve as the Director of Operations.
Assigned a designated Office to which they have complete control of for efficient management and control

Police Commander
The Police Commander is responsible for ensuring compliance with Department policies and procedures by personnel under their supervision; conducts audits of operations; and, makes recommendations to higher management for improving productivity and increasing efficiency.
Assists in obtaining sufficient amounts of members for department related activities.
Maintaining and organization of all department related paperwork.

COMMAND OFFICERS
POLICE CAPTAIN
The Police Captain is in charge of a geographical area of specialized division. They have final authority over officers in their command. A Captain is responsible for inspecting and overseeing functions of patrol officers to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards.
May utilize any callsign if necessary.
May issue revocation of vehicle rights of up to four days to any Master Sergeant and below, as an enhancement to formal disciplinary action.
May issue any disciplinary action to Senior Corporals and below without command discussion.
POLICE LIEUTENANT
Lieutenants manage the operations of a given shift or activity, command a specialized detail, or provide staff assistance to a superior officer. The duties of this classification include all of the following:
Performing as Watch Commander of a given shift for a large or complex operation.
Documenting the performance of subordinate personnel.
Making procedural decisions in emergency or unusual situations.
Taking routine disciplinary action.
POLICE SUPERVISORS
POLICE SERGEANT
Sergeants are the most visible and critical element of sworn supervision within the Department. Sergeants are first-line supervisors with primary responsibility for ensuring compliance with the professional and ethical standards of the Department by all subordinate Police Officers.
Acting as Field Sergeant, supervising the activities of patrol cars.
Acting as Operations Sergeant in specialized Units.
Handling minor disciplinary and personnel problems.
POLICE CORPORAL
A position commonly held by officers who are undergoing the department's Supervisor School. This is the final assignment of the Police Officer category of the department.
May take a ride-along on patrol under the guidelines of the Sergeant Training Program.
