It’s time for our annual Fruit & Flower Fundraiser! All sales support our LRHS Instrumental Music program and make wonderful gifts or a special treat for yourself. Here are some important materials and links to help you have a successful sale.

The LRHS Bands Club contracts to work the concession stands at Red Hat Amphitheater, Lenovo Center & Carter Finley (NCSU Wolfpack Football).  Parents & students earn money for their student’s band account by working a shift at these venues. Virtual alcohol training is required before your first shift. Occasionally there are opportunities for students to work these shifts as well.  Lenovo Center: students 16 or older may work with their parents (concerts, events, basketball, hockey)

• Red Hat: students 18 or older may work with their parents

• Carter Finley: 21+ to work football

Required Venue Uniform: 

• Band Shirt (alternatively: plain Navy or Black polo)

• Band Hat (alternatively: plain Navy or Black visor/hat)

• Black or Khaki pants

• Dark non-skid shoes

• No logos on hat or shirts.  No opposing teams. 

The RaiseRight company sells gift cards (via e-codes) that can be redeemed at hundreds of retailers across the country. A percentage of each gift card/certificate purchased through the RaiseRight App goes directly to support the Instrumental Music Programs. 

The annual Luminaries Fundraiser is another great opportunity to support our LRHS Instrumental Music Program!  Local neighborhoods purchase kits consisting of bags, sand, and candles to light on a designated night. Students and parents help by preparing and delivering kits, as well newsletters for one community. Students can earn service hours through this volunteer work as well.

This event is held in late April/early May. Delicious BBQ Pork and/or Chicken plates are sold to band families, alumni, area neighborhoods, etc. All proceeds go to benefit the General Bands Club which supports all 5 ensembles.

The Capital Campaign allows for repairs to instruments, purchasing of music and funding guest clinicians to work with our students.  All donations are welcome!
