Concert Band

The Concert Band is for 9th-12th grade students who have auditioned and been placed in Leesville Road High School’s middle level Band. Students will have the opportunity to advance in individual technique and grow in musical experience and concepts in preparation for more in-depth study. The ensemble performs public concerts and school functions. The Band has received Superior Ratings at the N. C. B. A. State Contest in Grade IV or V and also elects to perform at other Nationally Judged Festivals. This Ensemble is FULL YEAR and has two sections to it – an honors level as well as an academic level. These students are all in the same ensemble, however, students may take the course for honors credit with additional requirements throughout the school year.
